Default The 2026 season.

Game 1 - Lost by double digits
Game 2 - Lost by 3 in OT
Game 3 - Won by 2 points
Game 4 - Won by double digits

Some would look at this trend and say, "The Colts are going in the right direction...."

Other would look at this trend and say, "Not buying it...when is the other shoe going to drop?"

What say you, Freaks?

o

Since the retirement of Andrew Luck, the Indianapolis Colts have been the most unpredictable and inconsistent team in the entire NFL ....... the lone exception was the 2020 Philip Rivers season, when they went 11-5 and took Josh Allen's Buffalo Bills right down to the wire in a playoff game on their homefield in northwester New York State.

The 2020 Philip Rivers team was a good, solid playoff team ...... every other Colts team since Andrew Luck retired has been all over the place.

So in conclusion, it would not be surprising if this 2026 Colts team went 13-4, it would not be surprising if they went 4-13, and it would not be surprising if the fell somewhere in between at about 9-8 or 8-9.

Strength of schedule. The texans and commanders are bad teams. Colts are not good but are also not the worst in the league.

Not buying it. The Texans may have the worst offense in the league and the Commanders were down to their 3rd string quarterback.

Yep. Dimes is looking a LOT like the Dimes that could not sustain shit in NY and was not retained because of it. He's just good enough to lose you enough games that you can't succeed- not good enough to win titles with, and not bad enough that you get good draft picks- essentially the worst kind of QB you could have.

Steelers really did give everyone the blue-print on how to foil him last year, and this year in Pittsburg, I expect to see them do the same. SS seems to be so fucking obtuse he can't recognize what every damn DC in the world is doing to him, either that or he is just such a pig headed fuck that he refuses to adjust and expose the blitz (that's probably more like it just too proud to adjust from his "master plan"). The long developing routes- aren't working jack ass!

Sauce Gardner is a scam. LB's are still soooooo fucking bad. We do not have a WR that can just go win. The OL, particularly the tackles, are so frequently pushed back that all the Warren routes are being negated.

We'll probably get beat up by a bad Steelers team. Then we'll probably beat TN and be sitting at 3-3. After that, probably lose the next 3, and hopefully that will be enough to force some fucking personnel changes.

We've fucking wasted brilliant careers by JT, Q, and Buck, and that just sucks for them.

Yeah, I am with you

I'm incredibly sick of Ballard, think he is mediocre, think Steichen inspires absolutely nobody, would rather root for AR than DJ and think the culture is one of mediocrity on this team. But i've been a freaking Colt fan for my entire life and the season has started. I cannot help but think things may be moving in the correct direction. We played better and won both of those two games. Steichen actually put the ball in the air in the last quarter, maybe he is learning not to play scared when you have the lead. I'm hoping we can build on this. So I vote we are on the right track after a disaster of a start. Since nobody really knows, why the hell wouldn't I? Plenty of time for pitch forks if we aren't.
