The Eagles have requested an interview with OC Jim Bob Cooter.

Technically it would be for a lateral move in job title...but the Eagles job would offer more responsibility because the OC there has been calling the plays since midway through Sirianni's first season.

Cooter was on staff with Nick Sirianni in Philly in 2021 and this year helped guide an Indy offense that was 8th in passing and scoring while Jonathan Taylor ran for 1,585 yards.

I wonder if Harbaugh is having buyer's remorse about now. On the positive side, this opening likely hurts the Titans, as a good HC will go to Buffalo, and McDermott will take a good job, making the dominos fall in a way the Titans get left with a ham sandwich (Nagy) as HC.

I think the Bills window is slowly closing. They've been a middle of the pack team with the exception of one SUPER SUPER STAR. Josh Allen. However, nothing lasts forever and a physical QB like Allen takes big shots and they can take their toll. In 2020, Allen threw for 37 TDs. Every year since, he's thrown less and less. This past year he threw for 25. Not much sand left in the upper hour glass.

I agree. I watched probably four or five Bills games this year and I wasn't really impressed. Come from behind wins and squeakers. I kept picking them to win because of "it's now or never" type of thinking.

Jeff Saturday in 2022 with the Colts was the last person named an NFL head coach — albeit on an interim basis — without any prior college or pro coaching experience.

Norm Van Brocklin in 1961 is the last person to be hired as a full-time NFL head coach without any prior college or pro coaching experience at all.

I'm 50/50 on the Titans being better than us next season. And it's falling closer to 60/40 every day. We're listless as an NFL team. And the Patriots have rebuilt and are going to win the Superbowl again. Sad state of affairs. Really sad if/when Pierce joins them.

I would not go as far as saying the Pats are all the way back. They played a cup cake schedule this yr.

Everyone thought the Texicans would rule the AFC for years to come and they are still an upper middle team And Stroud is showing weaknesses. Maybe its his supporting cast But he is not the superstar I thought he would become so far
