If I were Ballard, I am now readying a trade offer to Arizona for the #3 pick to go live the moment that Carter is declared ineligable for the 2023 draft. It would guarantee the pick of the 2nd QB of the draft and be a lot cheaper than trading up to #1.
Two kids died in an accident that he was involved in and lied early in the investigation. He may not be available for a prolonged period of time.
