Unless the Colts make the playoffs and Rivers wins at least 1 game in the playoffs, I really don't see him coming back. With the Jets blowing the Trevor Lawrence bowl, this division has 3 of the strongest young QBs in the NFL. And, none of them play for the Colts.

But the block in the back, the non PI calls, etc. They kept that team moving along. The holds were not called on both teams. They captured some obvious ones the Colts were making. But they were grabbing and tackling our dline at times too. Last edited by Chromeburn; 12-28-2020 at 03:36 PM. |

You think the Colts are built to beat the Chiefs? Reasons? I actually think the Chiefs would annihilate the Colts. Mobile QBs are the death nell for the Colts.

I don't believe that the Colts are "built" to beat the Chiefs, but I do think that they are capable of doing so. Similarly, I don't think that the Colts are "built" to beat the Packers, but I do think that they are capable of doing so (as they did last month.) I understand the general gist of Racehorse's post, but I think that the wording of it is a slight exaggeration. Aaron Rodgers is a mobile quarterback, and the Colts did a reasonably good job against him. Deshaun Watson is a mobile quarterback, and the Colts sacked him 10 times in 2 games (5 in each game.) I don't think that any defense is thrilled to have to face a mobile quarterback, but I do think that the Colts have shown that they are just as capable (if not more capable) of beating great teams like the Packers and the Chiefs as are the Bills, the Browns, and the Steelers. I would bet on the Chiefs beating all 4 of those AFC teams in the post-season, but I would give the Colts as good a chance as any of those 4 to pull the upset. o

They have a mental block almost every AFC playoff team of note other than Kansas City. After beating them with Brissett. I've never thought this team was "scared" of KC like they are of the Steelers or the Ravens. |

I said it when Luck bailed, he set this franchise back at least 5 years. We will be entering year 3 pretty soon and still have no idea who the QB of the future is, Rivers certainly isn’t, and if it’s not Eason, add another 2 years to my prediction.

Luck had every right to retire and I dont blame his decision. Yes, the D fell apart last week. Irsay made a bad choice with gm and coach, then made it worse by sticking with them. All true. But to say that suddenly losing your young, rising, franchise level QB didnt set the team back is foolish. Of course it set us back. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
