If he’s as smart as everyone says he is, he understands the booing.
Indianapolis sent Manning packing for him and the fan base naturally is deeply hurt. I don’t really think betrayal is an appropriate word but I’m sure there’s a synonym that fits. I get it too. Football isn’t the type of sport where goofy dudes who congratulate opponents for busting their ass normally succeed. I always thought Luck was a fucking dork but I hoped he was a savant of sorts and it didn’t matter. Stepping away from the fan perspective though, I hope the best for him. He gave us some good years, made a little bit of money, seems like an okay person. It’s a tough fucking sport. Just wish you’d said something a little earlier, Andy.
