I watched Tom Matte in 1965 (he was a halfback) quarterback a Baltimore Colts team (Unitas and his backup Cuozzo were injured) to a victory over the Lombardi/Starr Green Bay Packers only to have the fucking refs miss a field goal call and give the damn game to the Packers (Sport Illustrated-a thing we called a magazine that came out weekly-had multiple shots of the blown call). It was a playoff game
