He had multiple offers but chose Denver, seeing the best fit with HC Sean Payton and QBs coach Davis Webb, joining a room with Bo Nix and Jarrett Stidham.

Yeah, it seemed like the Texans had a full LB room already...although one of their guys did miss a ton of games last season due to injury so this could be an insurance type signing. And while he is there, try different line-ups in training camp and roll with what looks best on the practice field.

Reunion: the Cleveland Browns and veteran QB Joe Flacco reached agreement today on a one-year, $4 million deal worth up to $13 million with incentives, his agency JL Sports told ESPN. Flacco now will return to Cleveland, where he won the NFL’s Comeback Player of the Year award in 2023.

Flacco also spoke with the Steelers and Vikings but opted to spend his 18th NFL season with the Browns.

If it isn't vet isn't vet minimum, maybe with some incentives, what's the point?

He was easily our best blocking tight end last year, and that is a role that needs to be filled. But it should also be a veteran minimum contract, or near to that.

Lets be honest, it is not as if Alie-Cox was the real problem, he has never been the pass catching threat. That was the role that Gransen and Mallory were supposed to fill. Ogletree is a well rounded TE, who is probably better as a blocker.

Our TE's are ok as players for depth, but we have not had the elite threat who can be a No. 1 TE.

From initial reporting, it appears the contract is more than the vet minimum...but a very large decrease from last year's number.
