Just to clarify my concern, we give up 2 first and AD for arguably an awesone CB but b¡g money down the road owed and if he get injured right away, then WTF?

Hate to be a negative Nelly here here but still seems a high price. I hope like hell you all are right and I am full of shit as my wife usually tells me. :-)

It i a lot, but he is still only 25. I am surprised the Jets are trading him to be honest.

I'm happy about the trade in principle but damn that is a high price. A 1st and a 3rd + AD is a price I could live with. 2 1sts and he damn well better transform this D!

I get that it’s a steep price but the dude is a 2 time all pro at a premium position who’s only 25 years old. And he’s under contract through 2030, i believe.

You HAVE to make that trade, especially considering only 10 percent of first round picks ever make all pro.

To me it’s a no brainer.

With this addition, I feel confident that the Colts will have one of 5 best records this year and maybe next year as well. Go look at the past 7 years of draft picks from 27th to 32. I think you'll find that for the most part, getting arguably the best CB in the game, one who has a 4 year contract already signed, sealed and delivered is more than worth it. As for losing AD, let's just let ChoppedWood weigh in on that.

I'm def not worried about losing AD, he has potential still but at this point he's still developmental and Dulin is holding down the WR4 spot very solidly.

If we need a body, bring back Zach Pascal!

Any NFL player can be injured at any time. On and off the field. It's just a risk you have to take.

Two 1st seems steep......

However, if you told me in the 2026 draft that we would trade our 1st round pick (late in the draft) and our 2027 1st round pick (hopefully late in the draft) for the #6 pick overall where we would pick a stud, lockdown CB, I would be all for it.

The fact that the stud, lockdown CB in question already has two pro-bowls under his belt, is only 25 and is signed through the 2030 season is incredible.

I am not worried about the cap hits. The next four years are more than managable and by the time we get to the last two years, the cap will have risen enough to fit those hits in.

This trade seems in everyones favor.
