My guess is he retires. He's had some rough things happen in his life, and 3 in one season is not good

Adam Schefter is reporting Ward has no intention of retiring. He is reported to try to avoid being placed on injured reserve before the Colts organization shut him down themselves by putting him on injured reserve. As badly as we need defensive backfield help it says a ton about this organization that they actually look after their player health first. Somebody high up seems to know this is only a game. Makes me happy to root for this team.
