IMO, on a designed QB run, the QB is technically no longer a QB but a RB. This is especially true if he lowers his shoulder and bulls his way forward. There's a lot of protection afforded the QB, every QB should be taught proper sliding technique and made to understand that NFL defenses can and will end your career if you give them the opportunity.

If anybody heard the presser with Bradley today, he more-or-less confirmed something I suspected...
Part of HOU's run success was our gameplan vs. Stroud. Sounds like the DL went in with a John Teerlink philosophy prioritizing the pass and defending the run with 6 in the box. |
