The Move

I'll be the first to say that Robert Irsay was a bad owner, but the city of Baltimore really gave him no choice. The city of Baltimore backed him into a corner with the threat of eminent domain. He had to leave the way he did in the middle of the night, or they would have taken his team away within 24 hours.

Again, Irsay was a bad owner, but there have been at least 8 or 9 bad owners in the last 50 or 60 years of the NFL ...... none of those bad owners were threatened with having their team taken away, except for Irsay.

Add to that:

"The Tuck Rule" (2001)

"The Butt Fumble" (2012)

And most importantly:

"The Greatest Game Ever Played" aka "Sudden Death" (1958)

There are numerous others that I left out, such as "The Sea of Hands", from 1974.

Probably not as famous outside of Indy, but Lamey's "he fumbled the freaking football" still brings back memories!
