In 1957, the 49ers led by YA Tittle were well on their way to a playoff win over Bobby Layne and the Detroit Lions ...... they were up by a score of 24-7 at halftime. Layne and the Lions roared back to win that game by a score of 31-27, and then beat the Browns the next week for the world championship. 66 years later, the situations are reversed ...... the Lions led the 49ers by a score of 24-7 at halftime, with a trip to the world championship on the line. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5C39j-jqFUY o
