The Colts were tied with the Steelers for 6th, because they had identical overall records (7-5) and conference records (5-3) ...... now that the Steelers lost, the Colts are alone at #6.

The Colts have the same record now as the Browns both overall (7-5) and in the conference (5-3), but the Browns beat the Colts head-on, so they are sitting alone at #5.

But with 5 games left to play, most of that doesn't matter that much right now ...... if the Colts keep winning they will continue to climb in the seedings, and if they start losing they will descend in the seedings. All of the different scenarios and possibilities will not become distinct one way or another until at least the 15th or the 16th game of the season.
