It all depends on whether Ballard and Reich feel like Stafford is worth what Detroit is going to want. And that’s definitely not a given.

Ballard isn’t averse to giving up a lot if he believes the player is worth it, as we saw with Buckner.

But I agree-if it’s at all feasible, they have to do it.
