I'm not going to even mention anything about JT's rushing yards today against the Raiders

His blitz pickups were the best I've seen in a long time!

That one where the DB fucking perfectly jumped the snap and had a CLEANNN look at Rivers was something else.

I was pissed the commentator's didn't give JT props for that. That was one of the best blocks I've seen a back on this team make, ever.

Wish I could have been in the stadium to hear those pads pop too.

I too was pissed that they gave no mention of that block.

I’ve been a little worried about JT’s development. Usually RB’s acclimate to the NFL fast and you know if they are good or not. But I tried to keep in mind this is an unusual year and covid has wrecked everything in some way. Last night helped alleviate that, although that Raiders defense was imploding.

I was too. However the last several games he seems to be seeing the holes better and being decisive. I think he will keep trending up so ling as the line keeps up its blocking.

The TD run was the Wisconsin Rb we saw on tape. They got him out in space and he found the gap and accelerated. Thats the guy they have been looking for

It showed the home run threat we wanted. But those holes are very rare in the NFL. It’s mostly the 5-10 yard grind. He does seem to be opening his vision up more. If we can eliminate a lot of the negative plays, which admittedly are not his fault if he is getting hit behind the line, then I think he will turn out ok.
