Fumbling will make you do that. I still think he carries it too loose in space still. He needs to tuck that under his peck and create that triangle of peck, ribs, and arm to keep it in all the time against the body. He is always going to be in space with guys coming at angles he can't see. And the way defense practice knocking it out in the pros, he has to assume that ball will get hit at any moment.
