Very good article. One thing that the article doesn't take into account is Manning's lower body injuries in late 2014 and 2015.

For a body thrower, that basically kills all velocity, especially in Manning's case, after the neck surgery.

Johnny U basically said the same thing toward the end of his career. His arm was fine, but the legs were shot.
