On the play in which quarterback Brett Hundley cut back inside and made the 1st down, I think that the announcers are mistaken in their assumption of what he was thinking ........ they said that he cut back inside so that he could get more yardage and pick up the 1st down. But I believe that the reason why he cut it back inside instead of going out of bounds was to keep the clock running. There were less than 5 minutes to play in the 4th quarter, and with a 7-point lead and a chip-shot field goal already in their pockets, I think that the quarterback (Hundley) was thinking solely about the clock ........ getting the additional yardage and picking up the 1st down was just a by-product of his main goal, which was to keep the clock running. o
