So after all the discussions, the Colts do indeed address a glaring need: Ballard goes wide receiver with his second-rounder.

Pierce fits the mold (6-3, 211), is a former track athlete and should compete immediately for snaps.

Both Louis Riddick and Chris Simms used Jordy as a comp.

I just listened to the Chris Simms podcast of his top five WR where Pierce comes in at #3 and I am so fricking excited by him lining up on the outside opposite Pittman that it is crazy. Just need to have one of the young guys step up and grab the 3rd WR slot and we are cooking on oil.

After watching film on him last night, my comp is a bigger, faster version of his WR coach.
