Word is, Cards were looking for a ham sandwich and a 2 liter of coke. Ballard countered with a bag of spoiled cabbage and a half full Orang Fanta. Dude is one shrewd negotiator! I mean fuck, look at what he was able to get for 2 1sts!

If the reports are true, I don't think a 2nd and other other later picks is unreasonable. As long as the 2nd is in 2028.
Maybe Carlie pushes Ballard to do something?

I would think it is Giants or Pack. But word is it is AFC- Bills or Pats might be willing to kick the tires.

Yep.
But the Texans are wanting to trade a 2028 2nd round draft pick. And the Cardinals would prefer a 2027 2nd rounder instead. Many teams will discount future picks by a round so the Cards may be viewing the Texans offer as "3rd round value." I am betting the Cardinals leaked this to Schefter to see if they could coerce a better offer from the Texans or some other team. |

Oh if he goes there and shines and their fortunes turn around--- that is it, I will move to file an emergency executive order for the expulsion of the traitor that is Bullshit Ballard from this country! Fuck it, if that happens, I would vote in favor of putting him next to the dude that is apparently going to be executed on a pay per view or some shit!

1- The Cards are a poverty franchise. Jeremiah Love, as far as we all know, one of the more reserved and respectable guys out there, stood before the cameras last week and basically said 4 games into his career, he feels like he is in hell. So, bust so far yes, potential to not be a bust, certainly. Uncertain if a change of scenery can do it, but he definitely has the skills for it. 2- Man I heard a doctor on JMV saying that it is very possible, somewhat likely we will not see Pierce again this year AND- if this is a certain type of bone malfunction associated with foreign growth of a certain bone- he went way deep into the technical shit on it- according to him, that might be something where he may need to be in an isolation boot for many many months and he said the atrophy if that is the case, he would not be surprised if we do not even see him suit up for most of next year. Keep in mind, this is the Colts, there is SOOOO much precedence of this type of shit with this team, you almost can't help but to EXPECT that to be the outcome here. So, we need to do something to at least see if he could be a young "replacement" - we know between Slayton, Treadwell, and Allen, we got some gray beards out there that are just short term rentals. Of course, even if we were to go winless the rest of the year, even if we had the first pick in the draft, with what appears to be the most gifted WR to ever play in Jeremiah Smith sitting there for the picking, Bullshit Ballard would pass on him because WR's aren't really something Ballard thinks are important. |
