It's obvious that Jones cannot handle pressure, but it's also obvious that Steichen has not designed plays to help him. Since halfway through last season, teams have pressed him on the majority of plays. Steichen needs to design plays that can succeed against that kind of defense. Plays that can give Jones confidence and get him in a rhythm. He's going to see this press defense almost exclusively until he proves he can deal with it. Quick crossing routes, draw plays,, etc. Steichen should be capable of coming up with ways to defeat this pressure. If you're short on WRs, use multiple TEs.
