I agree with everything you said. I am of the belief that 8 games of excellent play (DJ), when teamS are not really ready for what the offense is doing, while very encouraging, doesn't erase his career before this. I would like to bring him back on a one or two year contract. If he can do this for an entire year (be in the top 1/3 of QBs in the league) and win some games against top competition then he is our man. If he is our starter and AR is our backup I feel confident that AR will get to play (DJ has been injured and lost playing time every year except one. He is an injury prone player) and show if he has progressed. I actually think we are pretty close to agreement on this.
