If the Rams had beaten the Seahawks in that game last week, I doubt that the 49ers, with a record of 10-4 while playing in the toughest division in football, would be any less motivated to kick the Colts' rear-ends than they are now. If the Colts lose to the 49ers on Monday night it will because they will have been outplayed, not because the outcome of the Rams-Seahawks game gave the 49ers an extra spark of inspiration.

that was Namath's quote? He used the word incendiary? The guy was as dumb as a box of rocks , and he using the word incendiary? I don't buy it.
