They are examples of bad teams not evolving into good teams, and there are many more throughout NFL history. You specifically specifically said ......

You were wrong. Being at either extreme will not necessarily get you to the other extreme quickly and/or quicker than mediocrity will, as you asserted. Take a page from your own signature
