Totally agree with everything you're saying. Maybe AR kept telling Steichen and the coaching staff that he'd start putting in the time and didn't. Then when he started to regress and he still wasn't putting in the time (or maybe putting in less) then the coaching staff decided they had it.

Another thought I had is that AR tested positive for PEDs, etc. But I think teams have to announce when a player is suspended by the league??

More than likely it's that Irsay said we need to make the playoffs this year or else.

Just grasping at straws here. Such a fucked up situation.
