As good as his clock-management was against the Raiders and the Eagles, it was awful on the Colts' final drive against the Steelers ...... l Matt Ryan l gave us life with a 14-yard scramble on 2nd and 17. With 3 timeouts, Saturday let the clock run. The next call was extremely predictable, and we lost 1 yard on it. That whole scenario turned a very manageable 3rd-and-3 into a very scary 4th-and-4.

All of that said, I'm not going to go all anti-Saturday and kill him because of one awful handling of a situation ...... as I had previously pointed out, his clock-management in his first 2 games prior to the Steelers fiasco was stellar.
One of the few good things about the Colts being 4-7-1 and with very little chance of going on a run to snatch up a playoff berth is that we can watch and observe Saturday over the next 5 games to get a larger sample-size of how he functions as an in-game head coach ...... it's not like the Colts are 7-5 or 8-4, and in a legitimate battle for the AFC South division title, so if Saturday shits the bed from now until the season's end, it won't be nearly as disappointing as when Carson Wentz and company shit the bed in the final 2 games of the 2021 season.
