Look, it's not a comparison. There is no comparison between Reid and Reich. Reid has been a model of consistency, a HOF'er. Although, it's worth pointing out that in the past 23 seasons, Reid has only had 4 starting QB's: McNabb (10), Vick (3), Smith (5), and Mahomes (5). Meanwhile, Reich has had 5 consecutive new starters in each of his 5 seasons. I know we like to speak in platitudes and all... but that's worth something.

But that's not the point. Reid has had HOF levels of success.

The point is the fans' impulsive reactions. Reid is an absurd example... to make a point. If KC failed to make the playoffs this year while being pegged by most as the best or second-best team in the AFC, people would lose their fucking minds and demand blood. You know they would. Would you?

In fact... I'm willing to bet there are plenty of ChoppedWood-minded KC fans that are already clamoring to get rid of Reid because they say he's only won the Super Bowl once in 23 years and that's only because Mahomes is a generational QB. Say every other year he choked, that TB crushed them in the SB, that they couldn't beat the upstart Bengals, and now they're going in the wrong direction, wasting Mahomes' prime, gets too cute, thinks he's so smart, etc.

Come on, you know fans do that kind of shit.
