In 2000, the Patriots under Bill Belichik selected little known QB Tom Brady late in the draft.

In 2001, 8 years into Bledsoe's career, Brady replaces Bledsoe, becomes a superstar and wins a superbowl on a team featuring place-kicker Adam Vinatieri, who made several clutch kicks to ensure the championship.

If you are a fan, this is where you want to be. I'm happy you got there. It is a very real possibility (long shot but not the longest of shots). I'm not quite able to get there yet. Trying though.
