Lone #Colts practice of the week underway.

Sauce Gardner’s first practice since late November. Looks like he’s playing.

Appears like a full week of missed action for:

Tanor Bortolini, DeForest Buckner, Drew Ogletree, JT Tuimoloau, Anthony Gould

That explains why he looked lie a shell of himself out there.

Is there a team worse in football at evaluating and treating injuries than the Colts?

Not sure why we’re surprised about Buckner. He suffered a serious neck injury, and the voodoo treatment he received in Panama didn’t work.

Neck surgeries are far from total successes. He's probably done and should retire before getting seriously damaged. Buck, you've had a great career, but there's still a lot of life to live after football. Don't sacrifice 40 years of reasonable health for a year or two more of football.

Which is my point. DJ gets a fractures fibula, has to play anyway and ends up blowing out his achilles. Bucker has a neck injury that apparently didn't need surgery (I say this because he injured the neck and the Colts felt good enough about him to let him play), was re injured and now apparently needs surgery. Doesn't sound like great judgment.
