Dolphins latest loss could lead to trades

The Dolphins are now a woeful 2 and 7 and should consider this season a lost cause. So, maybe the Colts can get some needed defensive help before the trade deadline. Any thoughts?

Gotta get some help from somewhere, absolutely have to.

Other than Bradley Chubb, they don't have anyone that i think would be worth trading for.

And while he is a pass rusher, he plays OLB in their defense. I don't know if he has ever played pass rusher with a hand in the dirt.

No one in their secondary with the exception of Minkah Fitzpatrick is worth it, IMO.

Jaelan Phillips is pretty good, I would definitely approve of sending a Day 3 pick for him.

If Phillips has anything left he might be worth a flyer if he comes cheap. We are set to get a huge upgrade in the defensive backfield in a month or so (just in time for Kansas City) when Jones and Ward come back. Ward made a huge difference when he was back there.

Miami GM Chris Grier is now gone - he "mutually agreed to part ways" with the Dolphins.

Champ Kelly is now the interim GM...perhaps he will be more willing to make trades.

Mike McDaniels must have some very interesting pictures Stephen Ross or maybe Serena Williams?

Jaylon Jones was activated from the IR today. Is he in game shape for the Squeelers? Don't know, but him with Ward coming back helps. Still not opposed to a trade that brings in a good quality DB. A solid back end can help our pass rush, and a solid pass rusher can help the backend. Either way I hope we make something happen to help the D. The offense is humming like a fine oiled machine.

I doubt that we could trade for anyone better than those two (Ward and Jones). At that anyone better would probably be cost prohibitive unless it is a one year rental. We are going to need every penny to sign our own next year.
