Colts YouTube Podcasts

Since this a low and slow season for the Colts, I figured I would post this question.

If you watch any Colts related YouTube podcasts, which ones are your favorites?

Here are some that I watch semi-regularly:

Locked on Colts, Bring The Juice, Colts Syndicate, The Colts Cast, Common Colts Podcast, Lawrence Owen/Colts Law, Kent Sterling (caveat not 100% Colts related).

Any favorites or duds...and why or why not.

I watch a few, but I do not recall what they are named. I just click on the ones I see shared on social media.

I watch a little bit of all of them, Kent seems to be the most knowledgeable because he spent a lot of time in locker rooms interviewing players. I like Lawrence Owens breakdowns of games and film. As for the rest of them they’re doing the exact same thing we do here… it would be like us all getting together filming a live YouTube show as opposed to putting our thoughts in typed form.

I definitely don't watch In the Trenches. There used to be one called For the Colture that I liked but it seems to have vanished. Otherwise, a lot of your list are ones I listen to as well.

Personally, I think some on here would do better than some of the podcasts that I have seen.

Sometimes I feel that way as well. But, at other times some of these podcast have some thought provoking ideas.

Ha, that's the same thing in my head. When it comes to editorial types. Only it'd be like us posting with nobody pushing back. I need the confrontation and challenge.

Unless it's an insider that has some exclusive news or the occasional (rare) film study, they aren't too appealing to me.

A coltfreaks live panel would be pretty entertaining

When I'm successful at getting away from my "Doom Scrolling" I watch a lot of these. I do not find most of them to be all that interesting. We have better discussion here, like Racehorse points out. I can't help but feel like outside of the accomplished journalist, none of them have anything to say that's more interesting than what we get here.

I think the Colt's official media team's operations through Youtube is downright shitty. It's amazing to me that an billion dollar operation cannot do better there. Their production is awful sometimes, especially with audio, and when their production is good it's because it's propaganda/informercial type stuff. I don't think the team does anything interesting on Youtube.

If the market can bear another Colt podcast, I think there's room for one that mirrors our discussion here. Friction and arguments are not inherently negative to me, and when that's mixed with passion I think it's a superior product compared to a lot of the meat riding or whining we get out of these podcasts today. Two people that argue the same arguments we have here, I believe, would be engaging.

Thoughts on some of the ones I watch, but not all ----

Kent Sterling is the only one I've bothered to subscribe to. He's got better access than the guys at BTJ and I appreciate his professionalism. He's also got those corny fucking jokes that make me begrudgingly laugh. Dad humor.

The two guys with Indy star do a Colts "Cover 2 Podcast" that is hard for me to get through. Very bland. They'll have some interesting takes but it's boring as shit and they do nothing production wise to tickle your dopamine receptor and keep you engaged.

BTJ is all about passion but I see their takes as super elementary (sometimes immature) and emotional. Cody is the more professional of the two compared to Derek. I appreciate the growth I've seen out of those two though. It was cool seeing them get access to training camp a few years ago.

I forgot to add one of my favorites, in Horseshoe Huddle Podcast. Really informative and the do their film study. I also Like Locked on Colts, due to Zach Hicks also seemingly does a lot of film study.

As for a Coltfreaks podcast...it would have to be Omaha and Dammy offering their differing opinions and insults. That shit might be MOST SEE STREAMING!
