Ehlinger and scrambling QBS

Nice article on value of being able to scramble

I think this team may look and play better with a mobile QB. Sure can't have just a pocket passer behind that terrible OL.

Your QB still needs an arm that will scare their DBs away from the line. Ehlinger not having that is why it's not likely to work.

Chad Pennington. Smart, tough, great teammate. Pop gun arm.

Ehlinger has way more arm than Pennington.

I hope so, we will have a better sample by the end of the season

In bold. I think we will have more than just the end of season of Sam.
This team will probably win 2 or 3 more games this year. Just enough to take us out of getting a real QB. Sam will probably be the starter next season as well.

If he continues to improve all year is that a bad thing?

Nope not at all. Facing a lot better defense next week. We shall see
