Cousin Eddie reference alone gets my vote for thread title of the year.

By the way... I notice for myself that all of this "better draft position" shit goes out the fucking window on gameday. Rain on their parade.

Puck 12-26-2022 01:14 PM

Who is back up QB tonight? Ryan or Sam?

Rain on their parade.

In 2011, the Colts had a record of 1-13 heading into a nationally televised game against the Jaguars at home on Thursday Night Football. Not only did more than 64,000 fans show up at Lucas Oil Stadium, but they were going absolutely bonkers on the Colts' final, game-winning touchdown drive which left only 19 seconds left to play when Dan Orlovsky hit Reggie Wayne with a 1-yard TD pass ...... if one didn't know that the Colts' record was 1-13, you would have thought that a playoff berth was on the line for them.

Fast-forward the following video to 56:00 to see the crowd go bananas after the game-winning TD ...... Peyton Manning is rooting as hard as the maniacal fans were on the sidelines.

Plug for a new thread in the NFL forum ...... the Broncos have fired their head coach, Nathaniel Hackett.

http://www.coltfreaks.com/forum/show...474#post255474

*************************************

Since winning the 2015 season Super Bowl, the Broncos have not made the post-season in 7 consecutive seasons, and have had 6 consecutive losing seasons overall.

The streak of 7 consecutive seasons of not making the playoffs after having won the Super Bowl is the longest ever for a franchise in the Super Bowl era (1966 through the present.)

2023 will see a 5th Broncos head coach in that span since that glorious 2015 world championship season ...... Gary Kubiak, Vance Joseph, Vic Fangio, and Nathaniel Hackett were the first 4.

Love them to play well, but I want that draft position! Chargers 31-17

Brylok 12-26-2022 02:56 PM

Colts are going to win 2 of the next 3. I hope I'm wrong and they win 0...but I have a feeling. Man oh man...

Brylok 12-26-2022 03:01 PM

They'll probably beat the Chargers, beat the Giants, and then lose against Houston. It would be the dingleberry on top of the shit sunday.

Hoopsdoc 12-26-2022 04:05 PM

If cousin Eddie was describing the Colts right now he would obviously say, "the shitter is full"!

Colts win 28-24

Lov2fish 12-26-2022 07:58 PM

Colts are snake bit. Bolts 17-10 over the colts

Puck 12-26-2022 09:09 PM

I am kinda surprised that the roof isn't open tonight. I mean the fans have been fucked all season long I figured they would take the lube away tonight and really fuck them while being on national TV and all

Puck 12-26-2022 09:10 PM

31-27 Chargers

Racehorse 12-26-2022 09:21 PM

Bad first drive. No shocked at all.

nate505 12-26-2022 09:25 PM

Good first stand by the defense anyway.

Racehorse 12-26-2022 09:26 PM

Woods is gonna be a problem for defenses

nate505 12-26-2022 09:29 PM

It's super short, but so far Foles looks better than any other QB on the roster so far.

Even with that near pick.

Racehorse 12-26-2022 09:29 PM

Not a good spot

Hoopsdoc 12-26-2022 09:30 PM

How was that not a first down? WTF?

nate505 12-26-2022 09:30 PM

What a horrible spot. Challenge that.

EDIT: Never mind, he's still short regardless.

Spike 12-26-2022 09:31 PM

Foles looks a lot better than Ryan so far. At least he's not a rag arm.

nate505 12-26-2022 09:31 PM

Huh, guess he is going to challenge it. I thought the contact happened before he got to the line (while he was going backwards). But hey, I hope I'm wrong.

Regardless, the spot itself was terrible. It was off by like at least two feet.

CletusPyle 12-26-2022 09:34 PM

I'm shocked they reversed that...but I think it was the right call!

TheMugwump 12-26-2022 09:34 PM

Interesting. It's almost like Saturday is coaching to win the game.

WTF, over?

Hoopsdoc 12-26-2022 09:35 PM

Oof.

STFU Spike.

Racehorse 12-26-2022 09:35 PM

Woods was unable to track the ball there.

CletusPyle 12-26-2022 09:35 PM

Foles is a moron!

nate505 12-26-2022 09:35 PM

What I said about Foles? I take it back.

Hoopsdoc 12-26-2022 09:35 PM

That’s a horrible horrible throw by Foles.

Racehorse 12-26-2022 09:36 PM

Missed a hold there.

Spike 12-26-2022 09:37 PM

Well, we got it back on an INT.

Hoopsdoc 12-26-2022 09:37 PM

Thomas is a player.

Racehorse 12-26-2022 09:37 PM

Nice play there by Thomas. Like
Franco Harris’ catch.

nate505 12-26-2022 09:37 PM

Well this game is a sloppy entertaining clusterfuck so far.

Puck 12-26-2022 09:38 PM

Hell YEA!
