quick thoughts on the dumbass eagles game

1) matt ryan sucks. lets just say it. he seems spooked in the pocket. steps into the rush at times. has no arm strength. doesn't push the ball downfield. its over with him.

2) 1st down run up the middle for nothing. i know whats about to happen and so do the eagles. just wasting downs. fucking stop it.

3) this offense lost the game. from penalties to not shitty playcalling to just terrible execution. its the same shit. although the offensive line is a bit better than it was with pryor playing.

4) raimann has been ok. not great. fucked up sure but is he the future at LT. maybe. keep playing him. we should get a better feel as the season goes on

5) kelly and nelson get beat way too much for their contracts. there is something wrong with that oline room. i don't know what it is.

6) good on you ngakoue. finally earned your pay. you still suck though. but i will take 2 or 3 good plays. way better than your usual complete shit

7) dayo sucks.

8) this defense played their asses off. hate to see that kind of effort wasted because the offense is such a joke.

9) qb and pass rush. once again the issue with this team. ballard can't fix it. same issues year after year means it is time to move on.

10) we need paye back and healthy

Lov2fish 11-20-2022 05:36 PM

Play calling was far to predictable and it stuck out like a sore thumb. The game got bigger than him today.

O-Line is just not good. Ryan needs to go

Hope Rogers is ok.

Why was no LB or safety up near the line on Hurts 4th. down untouched TD? No excuses for that.

So far still like Saturday. He will take some bumps and learn as he goes. As long as you don't see the same dumb mistakes over and over by him, its progress.

rodgers came back in

the team is the team. not much saturday can do to fix the pass rush, the qb or the oline personnel

omahacolt 11-20-2022 05:40 PM

11) game day thread title cost us at least a field goal. maybe a td.

YDFL Commish 11-20-2022 05:44 PM

If Raimann gets physically beat, I'm fine with that. I don't truly expect him to be good until next season anyway.

But when Pryor got beat it was totally, just not doing his job. I cannot live with that.

Colts defense is actually been solid this year. Was offense that wears them out. IMO Colts offense not being on the field long enough.

We already won too many games to get best QB in next years draft. Cause Ballard trade up to draft a top QB Bryce Young.

But if we hire Riddick he would... If you don't take Bryce 1st shouldn't even take anyone. IMO

After Bryce Young other QBs not the answer IMO

no

we don't need to hire dudes off tv anymore. stop it

ColtBlue 11-20-2022 08:43 PM

Bet someone hires him and he is respected for his knowledge. I think he use to work for the Ravens

I don't know, but I bet he gets hired from someone and has succuss. JMO

Nobody expected John Lynch to do what he has done with mediocre QB.

IMO John done better than Ballard..

That's me. I watched the game and fell asleep on the couch afterwards...again. The little space heater blowing on me helped I'm sure. I just woke up. Colts just aren't very good I'm afraid.

CletusPyle 11-20-2022 09:23 PM

You know we learned when Ryan had his "injury" that if he really gets hurt and can't perform next season, it will cost the Colts $17 million....time to shut Ryan down and let Sam or Foles finish this bitch out!

Nah going to cost the Colts no matter what now... Keep rolling with him

they lose.

i continue drinking and watching football until about 4:30.

i then take about a 20 to 30 minute nap.

that makes a good sunday. except for the losing

apballin 11-20-2022 10:25 PM

Played bully ball in the first half and then got soft in the 2nd half I just don’t understand it

Riddick has been trying to get a job for years & no team wants him. Bad Take
You're not correct about Young being the only qb. He might not even be the best in this draft.

Unfortunately the best college qb isn't draft eligible this year. Drake Maye.

Ha! Same.
But I had to delete my Twitter account today and it took a while since it's fucked up now. Gonna suck for me for a while. I'll really miss the accounts I have followed for years.

The Eagles are a good team and the Colts gave them all they wanted.

Compare that to the Patriot game, they have improved

I actually think Bryce Young will be a flop.

Racehorse 11-21-2022 07:54 AM

I bet Saturday had flashbacks to Vandershank against Pittsburgh when we had the best team in the league, but lost on a kick missed so badly that it seemed the guy had money on the Steelers. If he hits the kick, we are having a totally different discussion today. I don’t like moral victories, but this one will help the team going forward. There was fight in them today. We need to maintain that.

CletusPyle 11-21-2022 08:51 AM

After a good night's sleep I am back to where I was before Saturday became the coach. This team is going nowhere. Ryan is washed up and I see no reason to continue to put him out there expecting different results. I say go to Sam and see if he can develop into a good solid backup. After the first half yesterday I actually started counting games, looking at schedules, thinking we might still have a chance....I won't make that mistake again!

Is anyone curious about Foles?

I was...but now I'm not sure it matters, unless they want to keep him as a backup instead of Sam?

BCN#1 11-21-2022 03:50 PM

Count me in the camp that thinks Sam has a future here with enough exposure and play time - only way to learn!

I'm still a doubter about Sam, but I'm OK with playing him to find out. But, I am also curious about Foles.

Foles is the same guy he has always been. Streaky.

That’s where I’m at with it… what’s so disheartening is how they came out in the opening drive only to get punked the rest of the game. When we passed on a 3rd and 1 I started to get the same feeling as Reich coaching, when we constantly left Rainman on an island I was like wtf Saturday u of all people should know better

Might have won if the refs would have thrown the flag for facemask penalty on Ryan. Colts would have had first and goal from the 2.

Nope, it would’ve went

No gain JT up the middle

JT 2 yard loss

Sacked on 3rd down

But they would have eaten 2-3 more minutes off the clock, Iggles would not have had the time to make the comeback.
