We had our chance, 2 minutes and the ball and went three and out!

Flowers out, they group the receivers and there is a miscommunication in the secondary.

As bummed as I am, at least they showed heart in the second half .

Hopefully that carries over to the Tits game next week.

Not sure which that is on, doesn't matter, it sucked.

Hell of a comeback and lots of good things but also some blunders that cost us at least a really good shot to win it.

Our otherwise excellent place-kicker missed a makeable 47-yard field goal attempt in the 2nd quarter.

Our head coach eschewed another 3 points when he went for it on 4th down instead of trying to kick a 48-yard field goal ...... the score of the game at that time was 23-8, and there were 4 minutes left to play in the 3rd quarter ...... there was still plenty of time to take the points, and cut further into the lead.

Our wide receiver dropped a ball right in his hands in the final minute of the 4th quarter ...... instead of a 1st down and already being in long-field goal range, we had to punt and play for overtime.


It's a team game ...... good teams win and lose as a team, and they don't point fingers after the fact ...... they keep on playing, and they try to overcome whatever mistakes that they collectively made on (and off of) the field.

Things are moving in the right direction. Bad half’s happen. Last few years we would have folded. AR doesn’t play scared and is on his way to being special. Loss is a bummer but I am so happy we have a QB it almost doesn’t matter. After these last 5 years it is such a relief.

Heartbreaker. We'll learn and get better though.

True, but it's still disappointing since we supposedly have good depth at DL. The Bungles DL completely dominated the Rams OL on Monday night. And while our DL played pretty well in the 2nd half, it was a complete sive in the first half.
