He sounds like a DE that moves inside on 3rd down. Similar to Chubb.

So the Seahags are paying Mingo $5 million per year for 2 yrs? WTF, you gotta be kidding me!

He's a career backup!

The cap is almost $180 million. Backups can get that.

So naturally, when nothing happens some people freak out and then of course the internet makes it worse. So some idiot tweets something and it gets shared on media sites, 1000's of people read it, get angry, go to social media, it snowballs, rinse repeat.

That is because they did not fucking listen when Ballard said we were not going to do that. I have a pinch of salt in my pocket for not pursuing Norwell a bit harder, but who knows what interest he had in the Colts. Jax has no income tax, better weather and a team that is better ready to compete with Lucks status up in the air.

It is hard to wrap our heads around how fast the cap has risen.

I don't know how many people remember the uproar when Harbaugh got $4 million per year after the '95 season?

Bills signed him, so the Patriots lost another in free agency, lol.

Any news on Rashaan Melvin? Sure would like to hang on to him.

Probably the most significant signing this off-season.

smitty46953 03-15-2018 04:53 PM

Raiders released WR Michael Crabtree.

smitty46953 03-15-2018 04:54 PM

Raiders signed WR Jordy Nelson, formerly of the Packers, to a two-year, $15 million contract.

Dolphins released Mike Pouncey, any interest?

What RB"s and WR"s are available? Need some help there, too, especially receivers.

1965southpaw 03-16-2018 09:04 AM

Shefty is reporting that Colts are hosting Detroit TE Eric Ebron on Sunday. After that he's visiting the Patsys.

Looks like Ryan Grant is coming to Indy for a visit:

Free agent WR Ryan Grant's ankle has been medically cleared by Dr. Robert Anderson, and Grant will visit the Colts on Friday.
Anderson is the renowned doctor most teams go to for anything foot or ankle related. The Ravens failed Grant's physical because of the "injury," but the widespread belief is they had buyer's remorse after giving Grant a whopping $14.5 million guaranteed. GM Ozzie Newsome said he had "no control" over the failed physical. It's a bummer for Grant, who is unlikely to get that kind of money from another team, but his agent said if there was a game tomorrow, Grant would be able to play. The Colts need to replace Donte Moncrief out wide

Great, another guy that can't catch.

FatDT 03-16-2018 02:45 PM

Colts are apparently trying to get Pugh here for a visit.

Dam8610 03-16-2018 04:49 PM

Vinny Curry just hit the market, hopefully Ballard has put in a call to his and Suh's agent. Also Bashaud Breeland's, he failed his physical with Carolina and is back on the market.

Maybe, maybe not, but they're required to spend some of this money somehow.

The #Colts have shown interest in former #Dolphins C Mike Pouncey, per @JasonLaCanfora.

Almost #Ravens WR Ryan Grant is visiting the #Colts today, his agent Rocky Arceneaux said. There is another visit lined up following that. Grant, who failed his Baltimore physical, is recovering from a grade 2 sprained ankle that needed 2 months of rest.

1965southpaw 03-16-2018 05:51 PM

apologies if this was already reported but also heard on The Fan that Bears placed an original round tender on Cameron Meredith, who was an undrafted WR. He is said to have low-end WR1/high-end WR2 potential. Bears have the opportunity to match any offers to Meredith but with our $$$ we could make a solid offer to someone who is seen to have potential. This seems to me to be the type of "value" acquisition that Ballard is more prone to do.

Sources tell me Ryan Jensen's visit has concluded with the Bucs and he is boarding a private plane right now to Indianapolis to visit the Colts, as scheduled. Yes, the Colts sent a private plane down to Tampa. http://www.espn.com/espn/now?nowId=2...642971095439-4 …

I heard on The Fan today that it's thought that the failed physical in Baltimoe is bogus and if he needed to play today he could...but rather Baltimore is trying to get out from under a bad/overpriced contract that their GM made. Don't know how true that is but surely the Colts medical team will have a chance to evaluate for themselves......

Indiana V2 03-16-2018 06:11 PM

Posted in the other thread but looks like Melvin is signing with the Raiders, 1 year, 6.5 mil, we could have, and should have done that. Come on, Ballard.

seems weird to fail a physical over a sprained ankle

According to Schefter he was asking Indy a lot more. Sounds like he really did not want to be here or to be inOak

Two years ago, Meredith had a hell of a game against us.

Melvin was arguably the Colts best player in 2017. Indy's in need of a new No. 1 cornerback
