1-6?

That's optimistic.

Who cares if it works or doesn't. With Clappy McDumbfuck it's not going to work. With another guy it probably won't work either, but at least we'll have the contentment that that moron won't be back.

We just happen to be worse thanks mostly to those on the sidelines and the front office. We have wasted far too much time with Pagano and his Clown World coaching style.

Tolzien sucks. So does the coaching. So does much of the team.

Puck 09-10-2017 05:29 PM

I'm shocked we didn't jump offsides

No. This is unacceptable. You can't tolerate this level of ineptitude at all or you turn into the browns.

Fire him at halftime if it were up to me.

WaynesWorld87 09-10-2017 05:30 PM

I understand not scoring any points without Luck (the Rams usually have a stout defense). But we just gave up 27 1st half points to a team I'm sure won't have a top half of the league offense by the end of the season.

The Browns might be better than the colts right now.

Indiana V2 09-10-2017 05:31 PM

Firing Pagano now gives Colts fans hope for the future.

Brylok 09-10-2017 05:31 PM

This is a Pittsburgh-style beatdown so far.

Luck4Reich 09-10-2017 05:31 PM

31 other head coaches in the league would bench Tolzien at half and give Brisset a shot... Clappy will just keep clapping.

WaynesWorld87 09-10-2017 05:32 PM

After watching us today, I say just "pretend" Luck's injury was worse than everyone thought, bench him for 9 more games, then after we're 1-9 10 games into the season, decide to bench Luck the rest of the season and gun for the #1 pick.

Is there a defensive gamechaning talent in the 2018 draft class?

Might be? Are you serious?

Colts are, without question, the worst team in the NFL.

The roster is bad but it's not THAT bad. The coaching is just SO putrid.....

Well, sure, but at least he's really, REALLY good at it; and that's, like, 75% of what it takes to be a good head coach.

The defense is what should get the dickhead fired today. They suck. One player..Vontae... should not make that much of a difference. Ballard should have done more for the secondary

Tolzien isn't the problem.

We're getting handled on all phases of the game by a team playing for the first time in their new city lead by a guy whose recent gig was as a TE coach for the Washington Redskins. I aint even looking at Tolzien at this point. He's turned the ball over once. Luck probably would've try-harded his way into at least 3 pick-sixes by now.

The team is a damn joke and that starts at the top. I aint gonna pick on Tolzien who is obviously doing his best with what he's got.

I will give you this... The zero third down conversions is on him. That stat is abysmal.

Don't forget the pass rush.

He did. He replaced almost all of it, except Davis and a couple of linemen. Not his fault Pagano won't play the rookies on defense.

What's a "pass rush?"

WaynesWorld87 09-10-2017 05:35 PM

Are the Jags the best team in the division? Has the AFC South really come to this? The Titans get beat semi-comfortably at home after talk this offseason of 2017 being their "breakout" year?

And the Texans get blown out at home by the Jags? And then we come out in week one and look like the worst team in the NFL. How terrible is this division?

We haven't had a pass rush in five years. Don't know why it still hasn't been addressed in today's pass-happy NFL, but it is what it is...I guess.

nate505 09-10-2017 05:37 PM

It should be 27-7. Which sucks, but sounds a lot better. But the Colts have a total and complete dumbfuck for a HC, who actually didn't take his time to look at the replay. I've seriously never seen anything like that before. It was a monumental brand of stupidity.

Indiana V2 09-10-2017 05:38 PM

Maybe since we're so reliant upon Luck we should trade him for a boatload of draft picks, because there's no way when/if Luck comes back that he's going to be able to fix this mess. He deserves better than this.

No.

Maniac 09-10-2017 05:39 PM

This is the 34th time since 2012 that the Colts have been down by double digits at halftime.

It's real bad. I'm rooting for a 6-10 division champion and I think it's possible.

bertjones 09-10-2017 05:40 PM

How to characterize the first half? The Sum of all fears.
You had the obligatory coaching boner- failure to challenge.
Defensively it was the Dallas pre season game all over, except we were
playing last years last ranked offense. Spotty run defense, no pass
rush, can't cover an aging sick mule on the way to the glue factory.
Offensively, Tolzein is the limited, pedestrian QB we thought he was
and our vaunted WR corps can't get separation. On a positive note the O
line played better than I thought it would and the tandem of Gore and Mack looked good. BTW, why would you not keep trying to get to mack in the flat?
It's code blue.

Indiana V2 09-10-2017 05:40 PM

Has a head coach ever been fired after the first game of the season? Chuck should be.

Honestly, has it come to the point where these mistakes that are so inexplicable are so commonplace and expected so that they don't create any outrage anymore?

Gimmick 09-10-2017 05:42 PM

When everyone asked Luck what's it like following in the footsteps of Manning, who knew they really meant Archie.

Guy is never going to sniff another meaningful playoff game the rest of his career at this rate.

Luck4Reich 09-10-2017 05:44 PM

Wish the Colts came back on to the field minus Pagano... Varsity Blues style... one can dream:cool:

daedge 09-10-2017 05:45 PM

I don't know why everyone is so mad - we've scored more points than the Bengals, 49ers, Packers and Seahawks combined.........:D

Luck4Reich 09-10-2017 05:47 PM

Last 5 season openers combined the Rams scored 33 points

Almost got there with 27 in one half against the Colts.

Indiana V2 09-10-2017 05:48 PM

Go for it.
