Ironically, going from one of the best teams in the NFL to one of the worst could be a new lease on life for Adonai Mitchell ...... he will likely get much more playing time with the Jets than he would have gotten had he stayed with the Colts.

I wish the young man the best, despite the fact the best for the Jests is not very much.

A new team, same old Mitchell. He had multiple drops last night for the Jets, including one where he beat the Patriots best corner deep, Fields threw a perfect ball that hit him right in the hands, and he flat out dropped it.

That’s classic AD Mitchell. I’m convinced the guy will never be good at football. He’s the new TJ Green.

Before the game lastnight I was thinking he’s got a hell of an opportunity tonight on a national stage and once again he’s dropping the fuckin ball, as far as comparison I’d go Da’rick Rodgers or Deon Cain

Mitchell also displayed the return of his alligator arms syndrome last night. Wide open and he didn't even have to layout for the ball, but pull hios arms in early once again.

Let's face it, this dude may run fast and run great routes, but he just simply is not a football player. I am so glad that he's gone.

I’ll be happy to see us pay that 3.8 mil. to anyone else.

From reading Jets boards, they called Mitchell’s awful performance “the Jet effect”. The idea being that players automatically become worse when they suit up for the Jets.

I read that thinking, no, he did the exact same stuff here. That’s just who he is.

Hopefully, that means that SAUCE will become all universe with us! :)

Putting Ward back into the mix next week and our backend is as good as it gets. Even without Buck We should see some more sacks from the better coverage (Theoretically)

Mitchell is showing a similar parallel career path to Kadarius Toney. The only difference is that he may have an even shorter career.

For sure. You can manufacture pressure and sacks through scheme, blitzes and stunts. There is no way to manufacture coverage. You either can cover or you can't. Much much easier if you have two shutdown corners that don't need a ton of help. I think, and I hope, we will be amazed at how effective this defense is going to be. I have never been this excited about defensive possibilities with a Colt team
