And I hope we bring someone else in as WR2 so that Inman is WR3 (or pushed down to WR4 if one of the young kids in Cain or Fountain can steal the spot from him). But, besides T.Y., he is the only WR who played this season whom I want back. Walk Worthy, |
I agree on all counts. Bring back Inman to compete for WR3 w/ Cain, Fountain and whoever else they bring in new. And find a WR2 via draft, trade, or free agency (although it’s thin this year). I see Cain being mentioned as the possible WR2 by some, but that’s just crazy. You don’t depend on a 6th round rookie (he basically is) coming back from a major injury to be a starter. I don’t care how good he looked in training camp last year.
Edited to add: I’d prefer the draft to be D heavy - especially at the top. But unfortunately WR2 is as big a hole as any on the roster, so although I hate the idea of using a 1 or 2 on a WR, they may need to. |

If the value is roughly equal I think you take the pass rusher 10/10 times. Luck can elevate the level of his WRs. He can't do it all game, every game, so you don't necessarily use that as your primary plan. But especially with the offensive foundation in-place, and with Doyle and Hilton healthy again, this offense is not even close to in trouble. It looked exposed in our biggest game of the season, and it is high on the list, but IMO is is at least 1 notch below pass rusher in terms of need. A healthy Hilton and Doyle, plus a Mohamed Sanu-level WR2 and Cain coming back, should be enough for this offense to be able to score at will on anybody.

Nfl network is saying that the Colts Offensive Line Coach has been fired; After havin the best OL in years, seems rather dumb to me Makes no sense to me. What do I know, I'm just supporter of the team.
