Why don’t they have leverage? That Moss trade was years ago and he wasn’t valued as high because a few off years. Landry went for a 2? Cooper went for a 1. What did Golden Tate go for? Brown is better than all of them. Sureteams will lowball, but someone will give up a higher pick.

It looks to me like Brown isn't willing to play another down as a Steeler, which significantly reduces the leverage the Steelers have in trade talks. Normally, they should expect a 1 for a player of Brown's caliber, but if he won't come back to the team, they have to get rid of him and take what they can get.

Well after watching the Bell debacle. Seems they are fine with letting a guy sit home.

Hey, that eats even more of their cap for 0 production. I'm all for it.

With a boatload of cap space and 6 picks in the first four rounds, there's no reason they can't accomplish both.

I hope so. I just prefer to work on the defense first, but I'll trust whatever Ballard and Reich decide.

If Ballard is really concerned about WR, sign Tate to a stopgap deal. This draft needs to be about defense.

Per this article (from a Broncos site) the asking price for Antonio Brown is a 2nd round pick:

https://www.milehighreport.com/2019/...-antonio-brown

Get it done.

They won't get a 2 because they have no leverage. When they're ready to accept a 4 is the time to strike.

No one saw the 1 for Cooper either
