I felt Steichen did a decent job to start the second half. He settled down Jones by going to short passes and JT. When we tried to go long we got zero separation. Thing is when things are going like this you need somebody to step up and it has to be the QB. If Jones is this top of the line QB he needs to show it. This is washington not the 85 Bears

Washington secondary is playing well. They get paid too. But they balanced this drive well.

I would love for us to open up here. We are not good enough on defense to win big games by going conservative. Open up against Washington not only do you get confidence doing it it makes other teams have to worry you’ll do it to them.
