Edge was better than any RB I've ever seen at two things even after the knee injury:
1) He almost never lost yardage, and regularly turned plays that should've gone for a loss into positive yardage.
2) You could count on him to get between 4-9 yards on just about every carry.

I’d like to add pass protection to this list, Edge was like a lineman when he had to block he would stick his nose in there and keep Peyton clean at all costs.
To me this is where Taylor is very disappointing… he either misreads it or half ass blocks |
