We are all but eliminated, I hope they just let Riley finish it out.

I would prefer to see AR return, but I agree

That more-or-less ends/kills our playoff hopes so now I can really go into "fuck it" mode.

Has a team ever had this big of a collapse? We were 8-2 and legitimately looked like the best team in the NFL. Our point-differential through the first, what, 8 or 9 games was historic? All indicators pointed to us winning 12+ games and making the playoffs. Yet, at the same time, is anyone surprised this has happened? Obviously the Jones injury made this loss eminent, but this has to be up there with one of the worst collapses in NFL history, yet for some reason not surprising.

Ravens in 2021 were 8-3 and finished 8-9. Lamar Jackson got sick if I remember right, then returned for two games and didn't look like himself, then fucked his ankle up and missed the final month+.

Sounds familiar.

Jags had a huge fall to the Titans a few years ago. I think Tennessee did the same to give Houston the division, I think

I agree. Rivers played his heart out, but at 44 he's physically done. I hope they start Leonard next week and he sits next to Rivers and soaks up some of that HOF knowledge.

I feel like Pittsburgh really exposed us and gave everyone the blueprint on how to beat the Colts. Stop the run, blitz often, and make Jones beat you through the air. Then Buckner and Ward get hurt. Jones breaks his leg and can’t move. Everything just kind of happened at once. I still think we are a top 10 team when heathy. Thats what’s frustrating to me. Can’t overcome all these injuries.

One first down away from icing the game, settling for a 60 yard field goal and leaving time on the clock was just a terrible decision right there

No one is getting fired. I don’t know why people keep saying that.

I would be SHOCKED if anyone gets fired after this season.

Really, Seattle played that perfectly. The Colts could have gone for it on 4th down but they were behind. If the game had been tied, it would have been defensible. As it was, they had to kick the field goal.

Seattle played that brilliantly.
