Time to change the channel and watch a Green Acres rerun instead of another crappy SB Halftime Show!

The Chiefs' offense has 1 first down ........ 1.

Colin Kaepernick led a furious 49ers comeback from a 28-6 deficit against an excellent Ravens defense 12 years ago in a game that went right down to the wire ...... I don't think that Mahomes has that in him today.

I think when it's all said and done we'll be happy w/ Latu, but I fully agree that our draft would have been a hell of a lot better if we had traded up for DeJean instead of down for Biz Decision Mitchell.

It's moreso the Chiefs OL needs to step up b/c they're getting completely dominated by the Iggles DL. Which is similar to what Tampa's DL did to an undermanned Chiefs OL 4 Super Bowls ago.

CletusPyle 02-09-2025 09:44 PM

Why do the need 6 talking Moron heads for the halftime show?:D

CletusPyle 02-09-2025 09:49 PM

I hope Taylor is alright!

Spike 02-09-2025 09:53 PM

Damn, the sacks are coming in bunches.

CletusPyle 02-09-2025 09:54 PM

I can’t see this Eagles D giving up 24 points….this one is nearly over!

Spike 02-09-2025 10:01 PM

Hurts is looking really good tonight. Barkley with a nice run there.

With that in mind, this game is somewhat reminiscent of Joe Kapp constantly running for his life against the vaunted Chiefs defense in Super Bowl IV, from the 1969 season ...... I was too young to have seen that game live, but I've seen the replay of it.

Spike 02-09-2025 10:17 PM

Philly D is so damn good!

Spike 02-09-2025 10:21 PM

Beautiful pass by Hurts. There's your MVP tonight!

CletusPyle 02-09-2025 10:24 PM

I really think they should show Taylor Swift, we had to see her jumping around, dancing, and hugging the ugly Kelce family every time the Chiefs won, lets show some closeups of their suite tonight!

CletusPyle 02-09-2025 10:34 PM

Looks like Mahomes is so desperate he is getting advice from Carson Wentz now…..:D

CletusPyle 02-09-2025 10:45 PM

Now I know he took Carson’s advice!

Spike 02-09-2025 10:48 PM

Eagles were impressive as hell tonight!

They are clearly the best team in the NFL, and I think the Chiefs are on the way out…I look for them to struggle a little next season.

Good for the Chiefs for playing the full 60 minutes, in spite of the fact that they had no chance to win from late in the 3rd quarter onward ...... it's easy to be gracious when things are going your way, but a person's true character shows when the chips are down.

Over under on how many murders and businesses burned to the ground in Philly tonight to celebrate the victory is 5….I say over!

The goal always was 4 in a row for the Colts ...... the Packers were the first team to win 3 legitimate world championships in a row in 1965, 1966, and 1967.

I have a hard time counting the legitimacy of the 1965 championship. Chandler's game tying FG that put the game into OT was clearly wide right.

The 2 biggest historical robberies of Colts teams occurred in 1965 and 1967.

The 1965 Colts should have had a rematch with the Cleveland Browns, who had beaten the Colts in the previous season's world championship game. As a result of that really bad call on Don Chandler's game-tying field goal which sent their playoff game with the Colts into overtime, the NFL decided that they needed to increase the height of the goal-posts ...... but that was too late for the 1965 Colts. And to top it off, the Colts were playing with a running back at quarterback (Tom Matte) because both of their QB's were injured ...... how cool would it have been to have a team playing in the world championship game with a running back at quarterback ???

The 1967 Colts were the victim of Pete Rozelle's idiocy. There were 16 teams in the NFL at the time, and 4 of them made the playoffs. The Colts were UNDEFEATED heading into the final week of the season. They lost to the Rams in the final game of the regular season, and were left sitting home with an 11-1-2 record ...... ONE LOSS, and they didn't make the playoffs !!! If Rozelle had not been such a dipshit, he would have kept the NFL with 2 divisions (East and West), and the 4 teams that would have made the playoffs would have been the 2 division winners and the next 2 teams with the best record ...... so, it would have been either 2 teams from each division making the playoffs, or 1 team from one division and 3 teams from the other division had the 3rd-place team from one division had a better record than the 2nd-place team from the other division.

But because Rozelle had such a moronic playoff format in which there were 4 divisions in a 16-team league, the 1967 Colts remain the only team in the history of professional football to not make the post-season with only 1 loss. )
