True. However booing him is classless. The guy was nearly turned into a fucking pretzel and he didnt quit then.

I respect his decision. Do what makes you happy in life.

This bitch is short and full of pain and sorrow as it is.

No need to add to it if you have the choice. Having a few million in the bank doesn't hurt either.

By retiring, he walked away from a lot of money. He could have continued saying he wasn't ready and kept on taking the cash. Fans can boo him if they want, but I won't.

I wont boo him either, but Fans in the stands pay for the privilege of voicing their feelings. You want to take a family of four to LOS, it may require a loan.

Season tickets are a big commitment for any one. For me to go to indy is 140 miles there and back. Just to go to the game is a huge time commitment if you live in Indy. You go walk through the parking areas before a game, there a lot of out of state cars. People put a lot of time, money and energy for an NFL season. If I had season tickets right now, I think I would been more pissed than I am now.

And, if the Colts knew this was coming in march, I would be furious.

Who knows. Stranger things have happened. Everyone forget how last season started?

We will also find out how good this coaching staff is.

Brissett and Kelly too.

Unitas got his chance when the starter, (I think his name was Shaw) broke his leg and was done for the season. All we can do as fans is hope for the best.

Luck quit on the team he was supposed to be leading. He's the reason we attracted the free agents we got and retained the players we did. Luck screwed the Colts. Gonna be ugly going forward

I think you are wrong. Look at his face during the announcement. He couldn't do it anymore. His body wouldn't let him. If he stayed, he was stealing money and time from other players. He didn't smile, it was killing him. He loves football and he just can't do it anymore.

Zak Keefer just tweeted out another Maniac quote:

https://twitter.com/zkeefer/status/1166158064677982216

Quote:

"Selfishly, I was upset at first," Leonard says. "But when I got home, I sat down, I thought about it and looking at all the stuff that Andrew's been through, all the pain, sitting out a season, missing 26 games in 7 years, I understand it. This game we play is not easy. Nobody understands that, because nobody plays it but us."

"This game takes a toll on your body. It takes a toll on your mind. And if you're not all the way in, it's gonna beat you up. I think he made a great decision, and I support him."
