Why hasn't the Players Association said anything about this? You'd think they'd step in on behalf of two guys who just got summarily dumped without pay, especially if they're vested vets (not sure if they are). Have they not had enough time for a formal reaction? Was the matter so egregious that they don't want to touch it? Just a bizarre situation.

I am glad Steichen has balls and high standards though. I want a head coach who doesn't fuck around.

That makes sense. If they had been arrested for something we'd know about it by now.

Thinking they may have gotten caught gambling on football or showed up to practice all fucked up one day.

Gambling has to be reported to the NFL. We'd know if it was that. I'm thinking hooker(s) in a hotel room in Cincinnati or something.
