They will renegotiate that number if he has a good year

The official reason given is that he has a “previously undisclosed injury.”

Interesting. Where did you read that?

Telling ya, I got scoffed at for suggesting it pretty early in the year, but look at the dude's legs in comparison to his torso- they looked like twigs; like the proverbial body builder meme where the comment is about skipping leg days. This sounds ludicrous but a number of times this year there were shots of him from behind- walking back to LOS, etc... and his pants were sagging in the ass, where other linemen's pants were still stretched to contain their hips and buttocks. Something was hurting this man and he could not work on his base. Either that, or he just quit doing shit in the weight room - which I find hard to believe with the fire this guy once demonstrated.

Hasn’t he always been built this way? I’ll need to go watch some tape or something, but I’ve always felt like he was the male equivalent to a muffin top.

I just figured he was “built different”. Some dudes are like that.

That said, I completely agree in spirit. This game demands strong legs.

To an extent I agree but this year man they looked tiny. Perhaps the gut became bigger creating a more pronounced distortion? If so, that would really be shitty on him.

He might have little legs but they didn't hold him back his first few years. I have a difficult time believing he has weak legs after watching him destroy everyone his first few years.

I found this.

I’m not sure how helpful it is.
