If your right, and you probably are, too bad for the fans because Jim won't do whats necessary, and IMHO, thats getting rid of Reich, and probably Ballard too !!

The Colts were good for one year out of the first fifteen years they were in Indianapolis. They were a laughingstock the rest of the time. Stop saying that fans were/are spoiled. It's nonsense, and it only serves to lower the bar even further than it is now. Maybe you're too young to remember those years. I remember them. Spoiled my ass.

You must be talking about the 1995 Colts with Harbaugh as the QB. I still think that team was cheated in the Pittsburgh game and should have gone to the Super Bowl!

I have been a fan since 1978 before they even moved here. So yea, I am old enough to remember. It still does not change the facts we had two generational quarterbacks, back to back. The suck years are irrelevant. Before that we had Unitas and Jones. The injury bug bit Jones, but early in his career he was a great QB.

Right. You've seen a lot of bad Colts football. Stop saying that fans have been spoiled. It's very counterproductive.

More than should be allowed by law. lol. I was not denying they sucked for over a decade when they arrived, but I am also glad I got to see Jones, Peyton and Luck, for however brief it was. It makes the bad years a little more tolerable in my memory bank.

Shaq Leonard = $20.2 million
DeForest Buckner = $19.8 million
Braden Smith = $19.0 million
Ryan Kelly = $12.4 million
Quenton Nelson = $12.2 million
Stephon Gilmore = $12.0 million
Kenny Moore = $7.5 million

Who gets cut and who gets traded in off season? Not sure anyone wants Ryan, but I think we save 29 million if traded and eat 17 million if we cut him. If Sam continues to get better and ends up being the guy I am sure we eat the 17 mil if we can't trade him. Still paying Sam on a rookie deal at 6th. round money so still money ahead.

Buckner is still playing at a high level, but does he want to stay?
With Franklin excelling do we trade Leonard if he gets healthy and plays solid by years end? I mean him and Franklin play the same role

Kenny Moore can go, dude has sucked.
The entire O-Line can go as far as I am concerned. They have been horribly atrocious.
I'm sure Gilmore will go. I know it is a 2 year deal but he ain't staying on a dysfunctional team. Take what we can get.

I could be wrong. But I think that's why they are not going to play Ryan rest of year. They our trying to save money on what initially was going to be owed.

I may be wrong but Ryan Colts days are done..

His NFL days should be done. He should retire.

Agreed, unless he can find a team that has a OL that can pass protect. Ryan sure can't be mobile. That's for sure

Something else what gets me is whether the Colts should have gotten rid of Wentz?

Absolutely they should have and did. He's been a disaster with Washington.
Good athleticism, no ability to read defense, wont throw a checkdown, won't use middle of field. IMO he is just too dumb to be a NFL starter his brain doesn't match his arm. lol

Wentz gameplay stats will never match Ryan. Ryan is better than Wentz
