Matt Eberflus did a great piece of coaching. Just not during the game but getting the youngsters prepared during the week.

I really didnt think I would have much fun watching this game and told myself to expect the Colts to get destroyed. Boy was I wrong and this was a hell of a game to watch. The Colts served up a lot of humble pie tonight. Noone outside of Colts fans gave them a chance tonight and not many Colts fans gave them a chance. Very good Chiefs team they beat on the road and damn it was fun to see.

Can't believe we won this one, but so damn happy we did.
And fuck ESPN. Their "front page" picture and headline is of Mahomes with the caption: "Mahomes escapes sack, scrambles for incredible TD in loss." |

Amazing. with a depleted defense they came into one of the toughest
places to play against a great team, got ass raped by the officiating crew and still took it to them and won. Kudos to the D and Eberfluss, the O line and Mack. And that Brisset guy that a lot of people don't think much of? all he knows is how to win. Great win, if you can beat this team in that place you can beat anyone. |
Didnt expect that at all. Enjoyed it.

Justin Houston gets revenge versus former team with critical fourth-down stop" But still..fuck ESPN. Good damn win, Colts. Mostly makes up for last week's home loss the Raiders, but the Raiders are looking like they did in 2016 when they went 12-4. Maybe that loss won't seem as bad at the end of the season as it did in the moment. |
This is a damn good roster that needs a QB. Hopefully Washington's 2 will be enough to trade up for one without having to give up future 1s.
|
Fuck ESPN!
Cannot be said enough. They stick us with a writer who hates the team? Fuck Them! |

That defensive line is going to wake up tomorrow feeling liked they wrestled bears. Except for Smith, you are buying the beers bud.
|
I thought we were going to get crushed. That was a nice win.

Possession 37:15 22:45 We dominated the ball in the 2nd, at one point late I think we had it for something like 24 minutes of the 27 played... |

Most surprising win since we beat Peyton in his return to Indy. I’m shocked. I had to work last night so I didn’t watch, and I wasn’t even paying attention to the score. Didn’t know until this morning.
But I just KNEW we would lose by at least 3 scores. Man, how much do the Raiders love us right now? Rolled over and gave em a win, then go out and beat the Chiefs in KC. |

Never count out any team that has Frank Reich on their side, in any capacity ........ even if the opposition has the reincarnation of Harry Houdini on the field. o |
I'm watching on Hulu right now, and wow. Old time football.

Not what was saying or meant at all. I just think it's humorous/really fucking annoying when ESPN gives front page headlines/captions to the losing team. Fortunately, in this case, it didn't last long. Justin Houston got his rightful moment in the spotlight. |

He was wrong in both what he said and when he said it. Wtf? Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk |

Look at Baker Mayfield versus Mahomes. Sure, the NFL gives Mayfield credit and likes to hype him a bit, but with Mahomes or the QB in Baltimore, it's taken to a whole 'nother level because it caters to who they're trying to attract. None of this argument matters because it's all drowned out by the "that's racist! lalalalalala I can't hear this!" sentiment that some people prefer to fall back on.

Mahomes won the mvp already in his second year. Mayfield has yet to do anything except be on the Browns. If you are good or look pretty good the NFL will hype you. Stars drive the game, especially QBs who you can’t even hit anymore. That’s why they are so flummoxed by this Colts team, they don’t know who to hype. |
The NFL hypes success and potential along with good storylines for them and the league. They hype plenty of white guys too. It's not a racist thing. They hype whoever they can. Mahomes has been a fantastic young QB, so of course they are going to hype the kid up. ESPN and other media companies goes over the top on their side, because they like the drama along with it.

What Limbaugh said:
Quote:
I think one of the problems with African American QB's is that they are usually very good overall athletes. They tend to abandon the pass and are able to run their way out of trouble. And they tend to leave the game plan and start relying on running rather than distributing the ball around the field. I would also point out that's what Luck used to do and he suffered the fate of many a running QB, they get beat up and leave the game too early. Now Mahomes is a different thing all together. He has great vision, and ridiculous arm and he tends to stay back and find a receiever before taking off. How he didn't become a short stop? Probably can't hit the curve. |
