Jeff Saturday is the anti-Jim Caldwell in regard to calling time-outs ...... he is very definitive, non-hesitant, and most importantly good at it on both sides of the ball (offense and defense.)

Better clock management than Frank has shown all year!

Well done Chase!

I thought it was fairly horrible time management at the end (I would have called the last timeout with 20 or whatever seconds left), but on the other hand it worked, so what do I know.

I am befuddled to say the least

What would you have done differently?

No way save, the last TO for the kick in case something happens and you can't stop the clock. He was clearly just playing for FG range..

I would have rather saved the time and called the timeout at 22 seconds. They burned a lot of time and had to rush into a real bad play. That said, Saturday had a plan to get closer to a FG and it worked, so it's hard to complain or find much fault there.

To me with 22 seconds you still have plenty of time to setup a better play for 2nd and 3. With a pass you either get the first down and can spike it, or you can try another pass on 3rd.

That said, I do get there could be a sack on 3rd down or whatever, and this did end up in a successful field goal, so, uh, I take back the "terrible" part even if I would have done something differently. Glad it worked out.

Maybe it's just me, but I think this ref crew actually likes us?

LOL. It's more that the refs absolutely hate the Raiders.
